This is a public-welcome fundraising event-pack a picnic, bring a blanket or enjoy seating on the patio or throughout the grounds. Rain is scheduled to end well before this event begins at 1 pm!!! And the high is a very comfortable 65 degrees, perfect for touring the 35 acres of gardens. Free Parking. No Pets, No Smoking, Please!
Once again, Sycamore Hill Gardens, 2130 Old Seneca Turnpike, Marcellus, NY 13108, is opening its grounds for Women Transcending Boudaries’ annual fundraiser from 12 until 5 the afternoon of May 20, the Sunday after Mother’s Day. The nearly 40 acres of privately-owned land west of Marcellus include diverse statuary, koi ponds, stonework, a formal garden, a hedge maze and more. Recent plantings of 10,000 trees and shrubs have turned the land surrounding the garden into one of New York State’s largest privately held bird sanctuaries.
