Fall color has finally arrived! We'll be closing soon but there are several weeks left for self-guided tours. Thank you all for a wonderful 2023 garden season. We appreciate your support, without it there would no longer be a Sycamore Hill Gardens. We do need help so if you know how to use a shovel, write and volunteer. The time has come. And, please share this post because Meta has drastically decreased our post reach!!!!! Thank you, Karen ... See MoreSee Less

Home from a trip to Berea, Kentucky! A wonderful trip and a great destination. Look it up. Meanwhile, it's still hydrangea season in the gardens. Cool tempuratures begin Wednesday and it's still as green here as Ireland. Go figure! Hope to see you at Sycamore Hill Gardens soon, www.sycamorehillgardens.com to book your self guided tour 7 days a week from 8am until dark. Picnic with your choice of beverages, enjoy! ... Dear guests, please do consider the Heat Advisory and visit early or late. Sycamore Hill Gardens is magical at both ends of the day, and given the weather this week, much more comfortable at those times than mid day. Thank you for visiting this Sunday and for your Labor Day reservations. Your visits inspire us and play an important role in maintaining and improving the gardens. We appreciate your support and your obvious enjoyment of 30 years of new ideas, planning and longevity-supporting work! Thank you for helping us move from 1980s, corn hay and heifers to where we are today!! ... See MoreSee Less

We had a great time, but did walk slowly and rested in the shade. It was beautiful and very peaceful.

Another perfect weather day, visit www.sycamorehillgardens.com to book one of today's self-guided tours. Happy Semptember 1st! The maze is much more challenging now than it was 20 years ago so plan on an extra half an hour if you venture inside! ... See MoreSee Less

When should we come, want to see you two. What is best time?
🤩
One of my favorite statues. Where did the maiden portion of the statue go?
Wow love the picture of the Minotaur when the maze was small
Wow was that before the trees grew up?
If I buy a self-guided tour ticket are we allowed to bring a photographer to take my daughter’s senior pictures there?
There's actually a very simple method to find the center and get out of the maze, which I used when I visited, and it did exactly that, and no, a drone was NOT involved, nor was Google Earth or any other internet capable device, no devices at all. It only involved me walking through the maze using a specific method, and I'd be in and out in well less than half an hour using that method again. And here's a false infrared photo I took in the center.

Wow, we tried to "Host an Event"!! Total craziness from Facebook. Please, simply visit www.sycamorehillgardens.com thanks to one of our daughters who has made online booking possible so that we have time to WEED!! Good Grief, nothing is simple!!! Hope to see you this week, come early when it's cooler, heavenly!!! Best, Karen & George ... See MoreSee Less

Friends of Sycamore Hill Gardens, the garden now has an Instagram account cleverly named sycamorehillgardens. If you have Instagram, please follow us on your account and please share our posts with friends and family. By using social media we could somehow, magically, reach out to all 3,000 plus of you directly with this information...but, to us that seems annoyingly invasive. So please spread this information by reaching out personally to those you know who you think would enjoy visiting Sycamore Hill Gardens. We are open 7 days a week all summer from 8 am until dusk and guests can now book online by visiting sycamorehillgardens.com. Thank you for sharing! ... See MoreSee Less
